We exist to increase stewardship

Many non-profits have big missions — reduce poverty, strengthen communities, and see life transformation. While these are exciting, the result of this work either leads to positive impact, negative impact, or no impact.

Measuring impact matters because it allows us to examine our work and make adjustments. Studies show this not only improves efficiency but also helps in areas like fundraising and improving program outcomes.

However, a 2019 study by NetSuite found that 71% of non-profits struggle to measure outcomes effectively. Aside from human resources, the two biggest reasons are systems and data. In other words, non-profits may have the best programs in the world, but they may not know it.

With increasing pressure towards greater transparency and accountability, the need is great for non-profits to show what they do matters — and that they are actually making a difference.

Founded earlier this year, 7Talents was created to do just that. We exist to increase stewardship, and measuring impact is a huge part of that. We focus on two of the biggest challenges non-profits face — systems and data — and use these to help organizations accelerate the impact they are making around the world.

We understand the inner workings of these organizations are are able to quickly evaluate and diagnose issues, however complex, and synthesize these in a simple way that everyone — from the CEO to the line level — can understand.
